Spritefan2 is locked to GMS v83 (pre-BigBang) assets. Make sure your
character JSON uses "version": "GMS" and "region": "83".
Items added after the Big Bang patch (2010) will not render, as they don't exist in the v83 asset set.
If your character still won't load, try rebuilding it in MapleSim and re-exporting the JSON. See the Help guide for step-by-step instructions.
No — the Studio tools work without an account. You can create chat bubbles, view characters, and export images freely.
A Discord login is only required to save characters to your personal library. Without an account, characters aren't saved between sessions, but you can always re-paste your JSON to load them again.
